Predominantly Punk/Harcore/Crossover/Thrash, but I also have an extensive Blues collection.

Metal is great for UT, but nothing beats NFS with some Pendulum on

I voted metal - Because i was in a metal mood and had spent the day listening to Soilwork,
But tbh i like any type of music (except R&B and Hip-Hop) so i would of voted differently depending on what mood i was in at the time

    *wheres the breakbeats option?

I've always wondered why the internet community is mostly dominated by rock fans - especiallly concerning the enthusiast area, I'm always outnumbered

I'd say that my favourite genres are post rock and leftfield electronic stuff. It depends on my mood though.

My top 10 artists according to last.fm are:

    Boards of Canada (electronic)
    DJ Shadow (electronic)
The Go! Team (god only knows)
    Idlewild (rock)
    The White Stripes (rock)
    Four Tet (eletronic)
    Mylo (eletronic)
    Gorillaz (eletronic)
Queens of the Stone Age (rock)
    Pendulum (drum'n'bass)

Post rock artists like Godspeed You Black Emperor! generally get pushed down the list because all their tracks are about half an hour long.

I can accept people disliking something but I seriously wonder when people say they hate or dislike "hiphop" have they only ever listened to Eminem or 50 Cent?

If so then I wouldn't really call them hiphop instead I would call them commerical pop rap.

In my opinion rap is just one art form that's a sub genre of hiphop, then again I think most "people" don't really care anyway .

I wouldnt say that i would listen to stuff like 50cent then judge the whole genre on some rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish who thinks he has some kind of talent...

Iam just not keen on american "Rap" to be personally honest if i wanted some thing with some rap in it i would be listening to UK Garrage! which IMO is alot better.

No, I hate all 'hip-hop.' It's the number two reason I can't watch MTV or VH1 (#1 being Reality TV). It's not even music. It's just a series of bump noises. Here, let me write my own hip hop song:

bump bump bump ssss ssss bump bump YEEEEEEAH!!!!!!!! bump bump UHHUHUH! bump bump bump <insert low class inner city colloquial grammer> bump bump boomba boomba bump bump
