Cracking is getting harder, but do you not think its unfair that the consumer who does buy the product should have to suffer higher prices or an inferiour expernce becasue of some anti copy measures. I've read alot about problems been caused by anti copy things on games, not to mention rootkit.

Not really, people are makingthings harder to crack, but crackers are getting much smarter. For instance rootkits for windows have beenwidly used by anti-vriusfirms, security platforms (heck and me!) since NT 3.51 days, the defacto howto in DDJ has only been superceeded by a book this auguast. So we're seeing heavyer tactics been deployed more often.

As for vista benefits, i've been playing with the beta, and personally i think there are some features worth upgrading too, but is it enough to make it happen now for you, well thats a different question.
