Glasgow meet?

erm, glasgow's on the west coast and edinburgh's on the east. Therefore, glasgow is 45min west of edinburgh on the train (think it's about £10 return, couls be wrong though), or an hour and a half on the bus (about £5 return, but takes aaaaaaaaages)

oh, and i *may* be able to pick people up from the airport if needs be....

I'd say, for those training it up here, you'll probably want to get here on friday night or saturday lunchtime? and stop over on saturday night? Dunno, it's up to you folks, i'm here all the time just need to get a list of everyone who's coming and phone numbers etc in case people get lost!

most people may be coming from slightly further away, like round where i am, about a 2 or 3 hour journey (or 4 ) away so should be leaving early saturday morning to get there for lunchtime roundabouts, then waste some time in glasgow, if its the metropolis youve said it is . that would mean then needed two pairs of clothes, one for the day and one for going out later, thus needing to find accomodation too, a small list of little places where people could stay would be good, hotels/brothels/bus stops.

either way im still up for it, just gotta get the woman off my case now

haha, right if you give me your budget for accomodation, i can see what i can do. shouldnt be too difficult, there's HUNDREDS of places to stay in and around the city, for various pockets. There's a eurohostel and a nuvohotel in the city centre too (along with a radisson and hilton for those who wish to pay extra for the added comfort )

as long as it stops some drunk or homeless guy pissing on me ill be fine as budget as it gets will do me. a room with a bed is all im after, im sure anyone else travelling up wont be after any extravagence either.
