I was out of the PC building game from about 1997 until 2001- the resultant lack of knowledge caused us to kill a £120 Athlon 1G within hours of acquiring it because we assumed that heatsinks were only necessary for long term use.
Still, don't even need to follow the link to know that this is an ooooold and abviously fake video.

As someone who has run a PC without a heatsink last year - Athlon Xp 1800 (don't ask why) I can promise you that isn't what happens lol. They just get very hot very quickly and the PC crashes.
That video is so fake, you notice how an explosion big enough to make a whole in the table doesn't even move the motherboard? They just crash and maybe smoke.
