Yeah, but it's hardly something that many people want/need to learn about. It was sold to the masses as entertainment (the mad looking doctor fitted that bill perfectly), i dont think there's any benefits from having it screened on national television. Those that genuinely want to learn about pathology can study it for themselves or go to these lectures privately.
Just another money-maker for channel 4; if it wasn't they certainly wouldnt be bringing it back for a second 'show'.
I don't really have an interest in pathology but i am interested in how my body works and what the internal organs look like.
I thought last series was amazing, where else can we see this happening without actually being in an autopsy room, i believe that Gunther Von Hagens is one of the best scientists in our time unafraid to push boundaries and take away the taboo of death, death affects everyone eventually yet people shy away from it......i wonder what th outcome of his work will be in years to come ? afterall where would Medical Science be today if it wasn't for the grave robbers Burke and Hare
