Arctic Monkeys Gigs Already Sold Out

Wow tickets have already gone, for all the gigs in April etc.

I didn't manage to get any; i had a lecture! Anyone lucky enough to get any?

Was a shame really as i would have been on holiday for the 19/04 gig in wolverhampton!

I am amazed at how 'big' they are.

Anyone listened to their album?
What are your feelings on them?

Personally, I hate them. They must be popular though if gigs are selling out this early

was thinking of getting a ticked to see them, didnt bother though. I like them but i expect by the time the gig comes around i would be sick of them.

Catchy yet depressing....kind of like early Eastenders. Do I need yet another reminder of the harshness of life and the depressing nature of run down inner city areas? No, I do not.

I wouldn't buy the album.

I can't stand the Arctic Monkeys, they're just The Streets with catchy guitar riffs knocked-off from The Libertines and all their songs sound the same.

Save your money and go see someone exciting like The Cribs or Goldfrapp!

I like the album, it's pretty fresh, particularly like the track "Riot Van".

Definitely comparisons between the libertines and the streets Norky, i agree to a degree.

I just got back from queing at the ticket place in Blackpool.

Got there at 5.45, started queing (Massive...) Tickets started being sold at 6.00, by 6.50 we were being told to go home.. sold out.

Had only moved maybe 20-30 feet.

Personally i dont really like them.

As for their live performances i seen them at the leeds festival, where people where ripping up the carling tent so they could squeeze in! (i had to stand outside the tent but had a clear view as im 6ft4) and their live performance was solid, if unspectacular (setting the music aside).

Nah, it was probably more like I heard them but didn't remember or know who they were because their music wasn't significantly good in my opinion

I just got tickets to see Hard-Fi at Manchester Apollo. They are miles better than Arctic Monkeys.
