My dad had the electrician round to sort out a few bits and bobs the other day. I was visiting and was amazed to see a white van pull up with the name P J Sparks written on the side! This was not a ruse either it was his real name.
I also had a friend at school who became a hairdresser. Her name was Vanessa Trimmings!
There's also a dentist in the town called Dr Pullar which I think is classic.

There is a guy on our database called Andrew Broomhead, he does not own a broom shop but still funny enough to be included.
When the police(CID) came round my house to ask me a few questions ( I was a witness). The blokes last name was Ironside, couldnt beleive it. No word of a lie.
There was a GP in Milford Surrey called "Dr De-Ath"
Another classic was a building firm called "Crookes". I saw a picture of a road sign in private eye proudly saying "Another project successfully completed solely by Crookes"
A friend of mine worked in a vets surgery with a Dr. Death (pronounced Deeth apparently) and a Dr. Richard Pain (you can work that one out yourself).
Her surname is Eager and she always said she was on the lookout for a Mr Beaver to marry.

Ok the names on this one doesnt match the proffesion (I hope) but its none the less 100% true and the funniest names ive ever heard !!
I used to have a food Tech teacher called "Pat Mycock" and her husbands name was "Paul Mycock"
