    46 is not old. My literature teacher was talking about a poet who is in her low 40s and referred to her as old. I was shocked. I'm 22. I think that people in their 40s are still fairly young. Think about it--people in the upper middle class are all but guaranteed to live 80+ years. People in their 40s have a lot of life left. I would date a women up to age 40 without hesitating (to give you an idea of my perception of age).

    I turned 42 in January. Luckily I still look like i'm in my early 30's! I've had to invest in a nasal hair trimmer though...
