Am I the only one that thought this episode was a bit dull? It just wasn't as exciting as what I remember last series was like.

Hmm the first (new series) was a bit hectic with the mannicins(sp?). This one was a bit tame in comparison. Next one is a werewolf one though, so should be interesting!.

What an awesome episode! I saw the staircase chase with the same view from a picture earlier in this thread! That was cool I really do think the new doctor is more suited to the roll plus the chemistry between he and rose seems more real.

I really enjoyed this episode, a lot better than last weeks.

    And, K-9 next week

The origin of a certain organisation first mentioned in the Christmas special was quite interesting

I noticed that..... and what about the Episode being called 'Dark Wolf' ( remember that being scribbled over the Tardis in one episode? ) any significance?

Torchwood is an anagram of Doctor Who, if that's of any importance

Torchwood is also the organisation who destroyed the retreating alien ship after the Doctor defeated them in the Christmas Invasion...

Yes it was... and the House in Dark Wolf was called Torchwood House or something ( like i say i was very poorly )

There's going to be a spin off series called Torchwood with Cpt Jack who was in Empty Child

Indeed - the house is going to be the home for the Torchwood Institute

(Already know about Cap'n Jack via OutpostGallifrey - could fit in quite well with TW I think)

I'm sure the BBC was streaming the episodes online last year, but I've just had a look, and I can't find that this year. They're showing all the Dr Who documentaries and making ofs online though...
