Guess what we got sent today

Today i received a tablet pc from one of our researchers they wanted it set up so that it could run on our domain and have all the programs installed such as office etc. i received it and then put it on the domain and then tired to log in from the windows login screen and found out that there was no onscreen keyboard. I Then had a closer look and found out that the manufacture had put Windows Professional on the tablet not Windows Tablet edition. Therefore making the tablet pc useless because you cannot log into Windows.

So i have to find out why it didn't have tablet OS installed. Somebody has made a big boo boo.

Well when I am eventually going to order a Dell laptop, I would like that option actually, then I don't get all the crap that comes with it

Dell's restore CDs are just Windows BIOS-locked to Dell hardware. It's like using a clean Windows CD - there's no Dell software on the disc. Choose the Windows media for £5 when you buy it, rather than the free Symantec recovery discs.

unreal yeah that woudl be great but when they sent me it back they sent no driver disks no restore disks or anythign :/ andno os so i was screwed
