i just want the upload speed to rise because even w 2mb the Bitorrent upload speed is too low to get decent D/L's

I usually have uploads set to ~25-30 kb/s and I can frequently get downloads of 400+ kb/s.

This is with a Telewest (blueyonder) 4MB/s connection.

Ditto but even if I'm only uploading at 5kb/s I can still download at 150+ kb/s

you've not got it setup right then

i use utorrent and set upload to 10kb/s (on 10mb ntl) and i get about 1000kb-1200kb per second on some torrents (ubuntu distro for example)


just need to forward the port to your pc from your router
if you don't know how to then look at www.portforward.com they've got very good guides and explanations
