we got told same about cats but ours never had any problems sometime busted them sleeping in the cot but would not go in it @ same time as the baby

Might be a little more difficult for you than you think to post the Scan picture, as the picture is sensitive to heat. I was going to do the same last year when my partner was pregnant and decided against it as it can damage the original scan

(if that makes sense)
