so i found out the reason..

as you all no sooty my cat was protecting me, iv found out the reason

IM PREGNANT: D

Its still early days I no but had to let you all know

Iv done 3 home kits and all have said the same positive

Iv now got to wait 3 days for the registration at the drs to go through then ill be down there having a blood test and to check im ok

Fingers crossed everything will be ok

Kitty’s gonna have her own litter

to celabrate we went out and brought Sooty a little girl cat called Sweep shes only 9weeks old though

Congrats both. To help your old cat adjust, put the new cat in the same room as him inside a cat carrier so he can get used to her scent. Once he stops being so grumpy you can probably let them out together. Obviously don't leave Sweep in there too long. You might also want to think about confining Sweep to her own room somewhere until Sooty calms down. Make sure you make a fuss of him too, since I imagine Sweep will want a lot of attention.

p.s. Shouldn't the new cat be called Sue? Sweep was a boy dog, if I remember. Sue was the girl in the outfit.
