Angry Would anyone like to buy a handbag?

Ive logged into ebay and im selling 13 desginer name bags AND ive emigrated to Hong Kong.

How on earth do they do it?

Anyway i panicked, got ebay to lock my account and closed my paypal account, this is my first bad experience on ebay and its really thrown me off.

Has this happened to anyone else and do you now safely use the same account without any problems?

    Cheers.

you have probably been phished. your best bet is to log in and try changing the password and if possible, the email address for both paypal and ebay. oh and cancel the direct debit for paypal and ebay with your bank.

they probably got you by phishing for your account details - random email spam pretending to point to ebay (but infact pointing to their own servers) to get your password, then fire away

many modern apps try & warn you about this - thunderbird 1.5 should throw up a red light on phishing emails, as should msie7 or firefox w/ google toolbar
