Haha, one of the greatest episodes yet!
That ending had to be faked though.
I've just watched it and think it might have been staged, but if you look @ the reaction from may and Hammond it's sheer panic when they first realise whats going on.
I've tried to be vague in case people haven't seen it yet.
I'm off to watch it again - thank god for digital TV cards
Maybe so, but Clarkson.. the way he acted... agh, just seemed staged. He acted so casual too!Originally Posted by Lee @ SCAN
Hilarious either way
i wanted to come on here and write a quote from it... but there were TOO MANY GOOD ONES. the partrige esque running away from the police was probably the best bit. just got someone new moving into the house and now they must think im a loon.

Hahhaha, that was awesome. Easily the best program on T.V.
Was that really May's mobile number he flashed across the Caravan display as well ?
A thoroughly entertaining episode. Well worth the wait.
Just so happens that the place they took a wrong turning is on the same road I used to live on (A35 in Tolpuddle). The ending did look pretty staged. After all, Hammond has had plenty of practice from Braniac...
The bit up to where Hammond and May seemed genuinely surprised by the fire seemed pretty legit.
After that it was staged.
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!!!!
I missed it tonight, however I'm in the audience on wednesday this week
I love Top Gear and it was hilarious tonight as usual.
I'm inclined to agree that it was staged to some extent though. I'm not sure the guys are THAT daft

It is the best thing on TV by FAR... and I don't even drive.
An article in the times pointed out that's it's not a show about cars, it's a show about guys talking about cars, that is where the appeal lies.
The fire was eaily staged, there were points when the camera was in with the fire moving around. This would not have happened it they had no idea how it would pan out.
Also when they threw the piece to the other van that was on fire they easily made sure it caught alight.
Amazing show though so glad its back on. I'm at the motorshow this week. I wonder if I will see any of the guys down there.
I love TG, one of the best things on TV, but it was a very weak start to the series. Am i the only one who thinks this episode was lame?
The whole caravan piece was completely s**t. The problem was that it was incredibly obvious the fire was set up, you would have to be a complete moron to think otherwise. It was not even in the same field. Same with the running over of the tent - as if the camera man would not have stopped him, and it was completly empty too.
I hope the rest of the series picks up.
probably staged. but so are ost other programs. staged or not that is ****ING ENTERTAINMENT
