I have bought a Office CD key (I know I know), now the one I used to have has now "expired" and I cant find anywhere to re-enter and register my new cd key. How do I do it? I have alot of work to do now !

How exactly did you "buy a cd key"? For what version?

Office 2003, mate bought it for me from PC-World. He just phoned me up n gave me the CD-key.
Im going to wait 10 more mins, if no answer by then I guess I will have to go.

Got a couple of people I know using OpenOffice and its a great alternative.
The MS Office software really is too expensive.
Oh i guess you could use the Office 2007 betas floating about I think they are time licenced but it'd get you out of a hole for now

Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder might be able to do it but dont hold me to that

afaik it is just a reporting tool, I used it to get my key and see if it was stored anywhere in the registry. I don't know where Magic Jelly Bean gets it from but the only thing I could find close to the key in the registry was the Product ID, but according to that site, rename the Product ID key in Regedit and Office will ask you for a key again next time you start it.
