Indeed. Death to the Anglo-Normans I say!

Also being mainly Welsh I still have the right to Britain. We weren't conquered.
You were squeezed out mate. Same thing.

Might I remind you that it was the Israeli slaughter of that family which started this recent stream of events, Bazzlad. If Israel wishes to make peace in the Middle East, they must stop being the agressor in such issues. You'll find it is very infrequent that there is an attack which is launched against Israel that is not in response to Israeli military actions.

Furthermore, Bazzlad, the 'wipe off the map' comment you speak of was actually quoted from Khomein, and part of a speech in which he states activists not end their protests of the occupation of Jerusalem, which he blamed on an "inevitability than had been the hegemony of the Shah’s government". There is no doubt that he is anti-Israel, but there is no proof of WMD-creation, and one can hardly blame him considering Israeli conduct in recent years, and indeed, years prior. I hope you all realise this unrelated event today, which the US are already, rather obscurely saying is "Al-Qaeda like", will be linked to Iran/Syria in some form, and coupled with the recent conflict, will be used as justification to invade that country too.

    I hope you understand, now.

    exactly what will happen next.

if i get to my birthday in late september without some kind of invasion/bombing of iran or syria taking place something has gone wrong

they just have to put us into the right mindset before they know we will all be behind them in any invasion

call them opportunists, call them criminals its the same rubbish just transpiring again and again

Warren and Bazzlad are acting like Israel and Hezbollah.

It isn't about right and wrong here guys, its about Tit for tat. You do this and i'll respond in kind. So you killed some of my people huh?, i'm going to kill some more of yours.

It breeds hatred, children get brough up with this environment and learn the hatred from a young age, Peace in the middle east will not happen for at least 30 years. It takes a whole generation of moderation to being the process of building bridges.

In my opinion Israel are doing themselves more damage by destroying everything that moves. it will only create more people in that region of the world determined to destroy Israel and everything it stands for.

And with the US and GB backing them up we join them in being targetted.

Though I hope I'm not being like either (and I'm hardly arguing for a side ), I agree entirely with your point about the wider situation TiG. Neither side of the conflict is right, and it'll require a cessation of hostilities and provocative politics/actions for there to be any form of lasting peace, though unfortunately, I think that is an impossibility for the region in the near future at least.

Steve B is right, this has nothing to do with the current alert and I've moved my comments to a new thread.

Holy holy crap, 3 houses involved with the bombing were raided last night were close to me... look how close.

I live on the road with the Google Blob above it, and the raided houses were on Forest Road, around that part too.

That's really close! Same sort of thing happened with me after 7/7 - I live just down the road from Stockwell where Menezes was shot and where they raided flats.

It would explain the chopper that was constantly right above my house from around 10.30-11.30

Even my mates on Ventrilo could hear it -_-
