Bagpipes - anyone play?

Anyone play the Scottish Bagpipes? Looking at taking up playing and want some advice on practice chanter and equipment to buy

Can't offer you any adivice or anything, but good on you mate. My grandad used to play, not sure what happened to his set. A cousin is really into traditional folk and roots music, so he might have ended up with them.
