Apparently, there's an area of Southern America which speaks Welsh, due to the first colonists/explorers to reach it were Welsh.

lol yeh, I'm pleasantly suprised how many bilingual people we have. I want to learn fluent welsh myself, never really payed attention in school, it was allways the class (one of actually) we messed about in.
It saddans me though when my friends (who are welsh) say theres no point in learning it! count yourself lucky chicken and be proud!

Absolutley not. Not in wales anyway, I hear yorkshire farmers are notorious for it...
Here we just eat the sheep.
No smoke without fire, thats what I say.
As I understand it, the rumour stems from a time when Welsh men used to rustle sheep The punishment for stealing sheep was very harsh, so if they were about to get caught, they would drop their trousers and pretend to be getting friendly with the sheep as the punishment for getting friendly with a sheep was a lot less then for stealing them.
Well that's the theory anyway....
P.S Please don't ask me how I know this
How do you know this?
