same here, i get my dvds if i pre oreded them (ghost in the shell SAC 2gig) before thay are out in the shops.
I've had no problem when I order anything from play.com
Mind you, I've never pre-ordered anything, whenever I want something on day of release I pay the extra and buy it from the high street rather than using any online store.
Ouch unlucky. They have been good to me in the past but it just seems they totally fcked your order up.
I never pre-order anything...
i love play.com to buy all my games but have never pre-ordered with them have had a bit of trubble with amazon a few weeks back..
Please write your complaint legibly in that box -->[].
It clearly is dependant on where one lives as I've orederd at least twenty items and not one was lost or delayed.
As for pre-orders, I pre-ordered Oblivion about three days before launch and it came a day after launch day because it was out of stock.
My experience of play.com has always been good. think only once something didnt turn up and i phoned them and they sent out straight away.
Saying that i have never pre-ordered and tbh if i want something on day of release so bad i will normally go to local shop and pay the bit extra.
Also think it depends on the area you are in and postal service.
I also have never had problems with Play, always been prompt and accurate.
Something that crossed my mind reading this though is that Play sell from the Channel Islands to avoid taxes don't they? Your mail might be held up in Customs since you ordered a lot recently and they want to check there's nothing dodgy going on. Just a thought.
Play have always been good in my purchases, never had them mess about or anything. I ordered Company of Heroes on Friday and it came on Wednesday very prompt and professional.
