    Just called Telewest to cancel...

Didn't expect the response I got!

    We were paying:

Phone free evenings and weekends - £16.50
    Internet 2Mb - £17.99
T.V. basic package Sky One etc - £5.00

    Total £39.50 p.m.

Having gotten off the phone we're getting...

    Phone free anytime
    Internet 4Mb
    T.V. basic package

    for £34 p.m.!

So we're paying less and getting a better service! They must really be getting scared by Sky, BT, talktalk etc as I literally called to cancel to BT / Sky and they did well for me. They did try and sell the advantages of their service but since I knew my stuff and came back to them with lots of "this that and the other" about why Sky / BT was better, they upped the offer.

I dialled 150 from my phone and took the options for cancelling / leaving Telewest. Pays to haggle!
