Mobile Memory Card Found, With very peculiar contents!

Hi there,

My Girlfriends Dad found a memory card on the road last week, all covered in crud and a bit damaged. He had no idea how he could view the contents (to see if there was anyway to trace it's owner), so he gave it to us to see if we could get any data from it. On inspection it appeared to be an MMC card from a mobile, so I loaded it into a card reader to take a look.

It was indeed a card from a mobile phone and contained approx 400 photos. Flicking through the pictures to see if there was anything to suggest who the owner of the card was, there were some very strange pictures (As everyone has on their phones) as we were coming to the end of the photo's both myself and my GF burst out in hesterics, as there are photo's of a guy who is featured throughout the photo's in a bedroom CROSS DRESSING! There are about 10 photo's of this, and I think it has the possibility of making one of the greatest OWNED!!! photo's ever.

Question: Is it wrong of me to plaster his cross dressing antics across the World Wide Web?

Just because he does somthing different to most people, that doesnt make him any less human. What if he's a doctor and saves lives everyday ? - acceptable to post them then ?

I just dont see what posting them on the web would gain.
Would it give you a "kick" ?

What if it makes a great "owned" pic and spreads around the web like crazy; the guy see's it, along with his friends, perhaps family and then decides to top himself ?

Maybe its not the phone owners picture ?
Maybe he was at a party and doing it for a dare ?
How can you judge somone on the clothes they wear ?

Your out of order if you do that to be honest, assuming the pictures are even his and as Agent pointed out - not for a dare/joke etc etc etc. Then so what? he isn't hurting anyone, who the hell cares what he does in his free time?

I bet you do some things or have done some things you wouldnt want others to see...

I hate people who make peoples lives harder just because they are different. I had to go through 5 years of high school as a total outcast. I just got used to it and presumed that was what life was like.

In the end I went into college an emotional wreck but discovered that life isn't all that bad but I now have to deal with having only 4 Cs at GCSE after a predicted 5 A*s, 2 As and 4 Bs. The only thing that got me into college were my music grades .

I always use these principles when deciding to publish something on the Web:

a) Is it legal?

b) How would you feel if someone published something similar about you?

I know that sounds like a party-pooper attitude but putting stuff up on the Internet is fraught with long-term issues and things could come back to haunt you.
