Isn't it their trademark to ban users they feel are giving them a bad rep?
ie, complaints, other etailers, pricing - that sort of stuff..
They ban for stupid reasons.

I was banned for changing my email address to my own personal email server - then my emails were rejected by their mail server. asked them to change it to my company email address - rejected also! gave up about 3 years ago!never looked back

Any firm that can't take criticisms or bad press is not a firm thats worth dealing with in my opinion. Any company that wants to genuinely better it's self would use the bad press/criticisms as a way of distinguishing their problems and to then sort them out and thus make the company a better one and not just a customer money sucking leech.
People should just forget about them, they'll get whats coming to them one day, its just a matter of time.
