    Angry Retarded ebay moron

took advantage of the cheap listing day last week and listed a cpu which sold within hours only for the buyer to immediately send a message saying that he bid in error , how the heck can you bid in error on a buy it now auction ffs ,
So i played nice and started an unpaid item dispute and selected that we had both mutually agreed not to continue and told him to agree to that so i could get my fees back and today i check my ebay to find the stupid pillock filled it in saying that we were still doing the transaction so now i don't get my fees back and i cant open a new dispute for it
still he left me good feedback so when i neg him i can be sure that atleast he cant neg me back

What a pain, is there no way you can get his details corrected?

Might be me being harsh, but I'd make him go through with the transaction now he has said he wanted it in the dispute console. Listing fees and seller fees add up and with clowns like that, I'd make sure I got it back.

I've had that happen to me too, except the person I dealt with responded to the mutual withdrawal. It still wasted my time though.

Ebay annoys me too much so I don't even bother with it anymore. I haven't used it in months.

Me too. The amount of rubbish, fakes, stolen goods and Nigerians on there is silly so much so its barely worth posting goods up.

It has turned to crap recently :/

Can't say I haven't benefited from a situation similar to this though
Got my Muse tickets at an awesome price after the highest bidder sniped me at 10sec left. Just to tell the seller he bidded in error..One second chance offer later and they were mine!

    Unhappy

Got my only neg on eBay off a numpty who tried to con me out of a £2.99p simcard. Basically he wanted it without paying, sent Paypal to the wrong place, told me numerous times he had sent a cheque and kept asking me to post asap (cheque never arrived ). Then has the cheek to leave me bad feedback...

you should have done the non paying bidder thing and the neg feedback would have been removed from your feedback score , although the message he put would still have remained i think
