Fog only lasted a day in Liverpool (someone stole it?). Glad, too, because the permanent noise from the fog-horns on the ships was really grating/spooky. I was waiting for undead pirates to begin attacking.

Can see your breath in your own house, the windows have frozen so much they look like they are starting to thaw.. think of a broken mirror, but with the windows and ice.

It hasn't snowed yet either, it's just very VERY icey.

    Anywhere else really bad?

God where is our beloved global warming?
Not as bad round here, just very misty

It's not so cold here in London, but for the last three days I've had to ride my bike home at 2am, through the fog. It's very hard to stop your visor misting up- on Monday it was so bad that I just had to ride home with it open, which really hurt.

Im loving it really, when im not at work. The cold at this time is nice, we've had thick fog here for around 3 days now, and when im walking around, it gives a real christmas feeling, after, it will be annoying though. I love the weather at this time of year though, such a great seasonal feeling.

Work however sucks. I work in a warehouse with solid concrete floor, solid brick wall, and some **** design of a roof, no heating and no insulation at all. Temps have regularly been in the minus levels in the warehouse, to the point where i can drop a fridge on my hand and not feel it :\

Com on you babies stop whinging about the 'slight drop in temperature' just because someone has been smoking a big cigar you say its foggy lol.

Just be glad you are not all living in Siberia, this must be like summer temps for them.

On a more serious note drive or walk safely.

    Brrrrrrr

I didn't know my car's thermometer went to minus figures! It was -1 this morning (yes I know it doesn't beat your -7s and -11s) but strangely there was only the tiniest wafers of ice, the roads weren't slippery, just foggy and once I got going, my car warmed up nicely inside and I forgot how cold it was

TBH I'm not bothered about the cold. obviously if I was stuck outside with just a t-shirt that would be less than comfortable, but it's far easier to do something about it, than when it's sweltering hot
