Why do you need a phone? use your computer, will tell you the time, call someone through VOIP, and loads more stuff...

BTW Mike, have you looked at Girard Perregaux watches ? Very stylish I think and quite more exclusive that the usual Rolex, Tags, Omegas etc ?

A bit tricky when you're stood outside a restaurant wondering when your friends are going to arrive...

    I am also a mobile-as-watch person. I haven't worn a watch in about 3-4 years.

3G card on a sub-mobile with 7" or so screen with obviously a bluetooth headset!

    or.....iPhone ftw!!!1!!11!!1

I always found that a phone can make a good substitue for a watch, but nowhere near as pratical, espesh when u always have to take it out of your pocket, and press on the backlight, when just looking down at your wrist you save valuable seconds.

behappier, the GPs do look great but sadly we do not have a local agent for them. I might be tempted next time I'm visiting Geneva tho Audemars Piguet (AP) also do some very nice watches, probably in the same class as the GPs.

I'm currently on the lookout for a c. 321 speedy pro - hard to find and costly as most are limit ed., so what's available is more or less used.

Spent 5 hours at my post office today, and almost fainted from exhaustion. I had to take a 'three wheeler' to the Hilton (close by) to get a printout of my Amazon.com order, come back - and they charge me 90% tax...OUCH!

The box cost $44 off Amazon.com, pretty nice for the price tbh. Also fell in love with the Seamaster Pro Chronometer 2220.80.00 so placed an order today for it and got 18% off!

This is the newer version of what is known to most as the "Bond Watch" featuring added rhodium markers around the luminous markers, a metal applied Omega logo with metal applied wording, and 'Seamaster' appears in red. It also features the Omega Co-Axial Escapement, movement 2500.

The case is half (or more) shorter than my chrono diver - which means I won't need to order new links.
