    Anna Nicole Smith dead

Yep, the ex Playboy model who married an 89 year old multi-millionaire when she was 26 has died.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/6344725.stm

She was found unconscious in her hotel room but medics couldn't revive her.

She leaves behind a five month old daughter.

    She was just 39.

What sickens me most is that footage of medics trying to save her has just been sold for a reported $500,000 USD after an apparently furious bidding war... revolting.

She got a lot of flack in her life, think she was still fighting to keep any money form the old boy's wealth, as the family wanted it (natch)

    /shakes head

The whole idea of a film of anyone dying and attempts at resuc is quite stagerringly sick and twisted.

Thing is, people want this sort of thing. This is why there's a market for websites such as rotten and ogrish. Makes me sick personally, but loads of people I know have watched the infamous ken bigley / nick berg (?) decapitation videos, and will no doubt watch this as well.

I think she commited suicide, and find it slightly interesting that she's gone in a Monroe style, as she based herself a lot on her.

RIP I Guess. A strange woman for sure, but God bless.

I would say "oh here we go, publicity over a celebrity" but to be fair, I do show some compassion in this one because she's left behind her five month old child which really is just terrible.

I guess she did pretty well in life to say she came from nothing and ended up being known throughout the world, even if it was for getting naked.

If that's true, that's even worse - sexual pleasure over a naked corpse?
