It is bloody awesome though. Utter bargain just now. Unless you must have a set to hang on the wall, SXRD is the way to go. I've had a long search for a TV and I think there's nowt better.

Apologies for lack of photos but I'm trying to see if the box will support a roof, trying make it an outside toilet.

In all seriousness, the damn box is still in my kitchen. Have to try some sort of giant origami to get it into the loft as I need to keep it as we're moving house soon.

hellojerry, I'd be interested to know what you mean ? This is the second (or possibly third) generation of this tech in a rear-pro.

It's this price because they're clearing them out, not because it's budget technology. There's a "tweener" model coming soon with a cosmetic refresh (too many words there, it's just black !) and a new generation model coming in September. That and the fact they weren't selling particularly well I think.

If anyone is still swithering, go for it ! The main thing against it isn't performance related, it's just it's obviously not wall mountable. It does have a bit of SSE but you only notice it if you're looking for it, and this is common to all RP's. If you're bothered by it avoid this set, but I'd rather have hardly noticeable SSE than motion blur or screen burn so I guess it's horses for courses.
