black dots in TV mode with herc 9800se aiw

Hey you all,
I have gladly got my new Hercules 9800se aiw running, after fiddling around with several psu. The card is softmodded with Omega drivers to 9800pro, and there are no errors in games or in fillrate tests. The only problem I am left with is that in TV mode I see patterns of small black dots. This is not seen in Easyview, but only in the smaller TV windows. This is also sometimes seen in playback of video cds (in Windows Media Player), so I do not think that it has something to do with the TV tuner or the video card itself. Any help out there?

thank you for pointing me to the thread. Actually, it may well be that I have similar artefacts. I have tested the original ATI driver (3.10) vs. the OCfaq softmod, and the black dots (which are really always only little dots) are only in softmod. Strange thing is that I have no artefacts at all in 3dMark01 and 3dMark03. It may be worth to fiddle around with the clock and memory speeds!? Which tweaker is the one to best do that? Some advise?
