    nvidia 8800gt card issue

    gday

i upgraded my old graphics card (7600) becuse it was showing strange fluro green lines and triangles and some of the parts of shadows where also showing up as green.
I got an 8600gts and had the same problem and just installed a new 8800gt and still having the exact same problem. I was hoping someone might have some ideas for me to try to get this working as its very annoying when trying to play a game. Ive put a link to a screen shot that shows the problem pretty well, the green shadow around the loading screen text in cod4. It's the same ingame with parts of the ground/walls etc showing up as fluro green.

would really really appreciate anyones help.
    regards
    jordan

    Re: nvidia 8800gt card issue

Haven't recently set up some speakers next to your monitor...or some other magnetic soure?

Clearly it's not the graphics card, so next best guess is monitor.

    Re: nvidia 8800gt card issue

could be all sorts of things, drivers, windows, motherboard, PSU, monitor, interference.

You don't have a magnet surgically implanted in your head by any chance?

Sorry but you'll need to give us more info to go on here.
