Question twin ati or single nvidia

I have a choice to make and use some advise should i get 1x bfg 9600gt 512 gddr3 or 2x ati hd3650 512 gddr 3 for about the same price actually i little less which set up will give the best preformance as i have never used an ati graphics before so i dont have a clue which is best.

Other suggestions welcome i am spending about £100

YOu can get the Leadtek 9800GTX for just over £100 now and that will crucify both.
