Great screen but perhaps showing its age now... I've heard various stories of it suffering from ghosting.

Yeah same here. Got two of them and I don't see any ghosting myself. Might well be that only some panels are effected?

Just a quick response regarding the 21" lcd being crap for games... I have a brand new iiyama 540S-B here, 21.3 inch, 20ms screen... and it's quite frankly, awesome. Games are absolutely perfect with it, no probs at all. Better, in fact, then the Hyundai Q17S which it replaced (which while no ghosting, had an unusual redraw problem in scrolling games like FIFA etc, more visible to the people watching over the shoulder than actually playing it...)

don't take this at face value.

OF COURSE a 21'' LCD will be crap for games - its latency will be HUGE - i would expect 30ms PLUS.

but on an 18'' lcd with <25ms response, it will look far better than any crap that your crt puts out.

Hi everyone, new here. Just thought I'd throw in my recommendation: Viewsonic VP201S (20.1in, 16ms response). Nobody in the world has reviewed it save Prad.de (translated page http://translate.google.com/translat...UTF-8%26sa%3DN). I've not experienced any of the negatives listed in the review either. I watch a lot of DVDs/divx/etc (it's also HDTV ready, btw ): play CS, NFSU, and other fast paced games; and do a lot of photoshop. I've got not one complaint about this monitor except for the fact that nobody knows about it (http://www.viewsonic.com/products/lcd_vp201s.htm)
