    Question NF7-S Graphics...

I'm building a new system and have already purchased an ABIT NF7-S V2.0. I've just been reading throught the manual and apparently it's got onboard graphics upto the level of geforce 4 mx. The system is mainly going to be used for music production and so I was only going to buy a Inno 3D Gefoce 4 mx440 128mb graphics card for it anyway, in an attempt to save some cash. I have no interst in 3D games, and i'm now wondering, IS IT WORTH ME PAYING £40 FOR THE INNO 3D CARD OR WILL THE ONBOARD GRAPHICS OF MY NF7-S DO EXACTLY THE SAME JOB???? PLEASE HELP.

The NF7-S has SATA Raid and SoundStorm Audio, not onboard GF4MX440 graphics. If I remember correctly, it's the NF7-M that has onboard graphics. So if you haven't bought a graphics card already, and your mobo is definitely a NF7-S rather than NF7-M, you'll need to buy one in order to use it.

If you're not going to be playing any games, then it doesn't really matter what card you get, as long as the drivers and compatibilty is okay.

If you have an NF7-S you do not have onboard graphics.

Nope, the Nf7-m is the only abit nforce2 board to have the onboard mx440. So you'll have to get the inno3d card.

    NF7-M doesn't support 400MHz FSB either. It's 333MHz.
