I believe AA is broke in Halo period.

Seriously though, has anyone played with the new Nvidia drivers. I love the application(game) specific settings you can set. (called "Application Profiles") Ex. You can set Quake3 to run at 4xAA&8xAF, and say Call of Duty for 2AA&8AF, all in the drivers and permanently, no changing for each time you load a different game, etc.

The pop-up blocker is cool too. Its free and doesnt come with some advertising gimmick like some of the free pop-up blockers from search engine sites.

Personally, I have always bought Nvidia... just because of better driver support/stability... and now some really neat features... pop-up blocking, etc.
Guess you didnt want the faster card though eh? And WAOW pop-up blocking!!! i thought that technology wasnt arriving till like 2010 or somethin!

    Thanks smartass Korky.

Not that its a new tech. But how many others come free WITH OUT strings attached (advertising, etc) and are built in to the drivers, using things like transparent fading, (using graphics card power) etc.

I see you finally beat my 3dMark score.
Though with ICE in your WC set up and voltmod - not a 24/7 set up like mine! You know its nice being at 3.6Ghz aircooled.

Yeah read the TOS/privacy policy carefully.

They give it to you "free" b/c they are going to make money on the advertising from you using Google as your search and tracking Pageranks, Pageclicks, etc.

I think the excite toolbar is the one that gives you a separate window of their advertised paid search responses.

firefox is cool... didnt say it wasnt.

Any my penis is definitely bigger than korky's. Plus I can benchpress more and get more chicks.

This thread was really a joke... mocking the "Why I wont buy nvidia" thread
    its ok if its derailed.

I personally prefer nvidia b/c of their drivers. Though I can acknowledge ATI has had a solid product and decent drivers since the 9700 came along.

I can't wait for the next generation parts to go head to head! 6800U vs x800 XT or whatever its called... thats going to be a juicy battle.

BTW, one funny sidebar note.... I love it when ATI fanboys bitch about "hating Nvidia" etc.... and then when you look at their 3dMark details you see....
    Videocard: ATI 9x00
    Motherboard: Nvidia nforce!

If they love ATI so much, go buy an ATI mobo... like the P4 one.
