I shure hope my XT does better than that! Not that that score was bad but I would expect alitle more performance than that! even for a pro! But than again my system might also help when I score my XT!

Would hope not. It beats my score by less than 2000 Marks, with a 9800pro.

Thats pretty low. My FX5950 can hit around 6k without even trying. Im sure i could get much higher if i cba to overclock and tweek my system.

thats a pro, iirc it has 12 pipes instead of 16. 12 / 4 = 3(3) = 9k, so its about right. Also has lower clocks etc i think... however a overclocked one should be able to find its way back upto 12k given the right v mods...

If the CPU ain't overclocked thats less memory bandwidth as well.

Also those mad 15k scores are with Athlon 64s IIRC.

OK guys that was with a non overclocked system and a non overclocked card, so I believe that is a good score.
I really need a new psu so that i can overclock my Barton, as i currently have the crappy 200w psu in my shuttle.

personally stop using 3dmark as 1 its crap, 2 its full of tweaks and cheats to show the cards are running better than they are, and 3 if it plays your games is that not enough? If it plays your games at anything above 60fps you are sorted, thats all there is to it.

so what are you going to use instead of the most common test for your graphics card?
