Only one you do have to hold your tongue on is criticism of OcUK and their forums. I'm sure an admin will be along to explain why, but basically we don't want a flamefest (not that I've seen anyone who'd disagree with you) or people's dirty washing aired here. Certain people closely related OcUK has been known to threaten legal action against people who criticise them and Hexus can't afford that.

Its not worth the hasle from any of the OcUK crew, or to degrade our own forums.

Stick about. We are very relaxed rules wise here

If you disagree with OcUK's rules, let them know.
If you disagree with any of ours, post in the input forum and we'll try to answer why we have them, or review them if needed.

    Anyway, welcome to HEXUS matey

I wasnt planning to flame them anyway, just was curious about talking freely if you see a bargain somewhere , and you can post where it was, things like that To be fair It was in their rules, I just didnt realise i had an older post that cost me a suspension, but never mind

Sorry to have gone offtopic here, my monitor is set to arrive tomorrow so ill give my opinions on it when it turns up, be a nice friend for my dell 2001fp tft

well my monitors arrived, god damn this thing is huge, it dwarfs my dell tft by some way. The picture isnt great, but i havent had a CRT for a few years now, so im directly comparing it with my dell.

I plan to use it for movies really anyway, it looks good quality kit, but im definetly going to invest in the bnc cable to see if i can get the picture quality better.

lo Agent, i wanted to know if i go out and buy, a bnc cable will it make any differnce to the monitors look. as my monitor as a focus prob ive seemed to of sorted most of it out by playing with the settings. ingames its fine and when im doing graphics design its fine, but when i am viewing text based things its abit out of focus on the text, only at the bottom of my screen mind. i can live with it for now but i would liek to fix it, but if i cant then i would have to get it swoped, ok thx cya

I picked up the BNC connector today, and I have to say for £14.99 at maplins, im delighted with it, it definetly makes the monitor that little bit sharper, display looks brilliant Im actually so happy with it, ive sold my Dell 2001 FP 20" TFT.

As derthballs said above, a BNC connector should help a little bit. Im not entirely sure how much though, as i cant say ive ever compared them !
What graphics card do you have ? You'd be supprised on how the 2D image quality differs from brand to brand !

I might grab a BNC cable soon, and see for myself

Its hard to say, but it definetly does look sharper and all round better, Im absolutely delighted with my monitor, as I said, so much so, instead of running dual with my 20" Dell TFT, ive binned it completely in favour of the CRT, and the dells currently the best TFT you can get
