    geforce 6800

Can anyone help me??!! Iwant to upgrade from gf 4400ti to gf 6800(non ultra or gt) mainly for Doom3. My setup is Athlon 2400+,512mb ddr, ECS K7S5A mobo 300w psu. The mobo is only 4x agp and the 6800 is 8x agp. Would this incurr a serious drop in quality/performance/fps or would it not be that noticeable? I am upgrading my psu also. Any suggestions?

You wouldnt notice any difference. As for PSU, just make sure you get a good quality 400W or above. Akasa, Enermax, OCZ, Globalwin, I could be here for ever.

Mmmm bit tricky that. The card is definetly much more powerfull in DX9, in particular Doom3. But the CPU will hold it back. Just not sure by how much exactly.
maybe you can clock your CPU up a bit

Yeh i would have to agree m8..If your going to upgrade the card, you may as well go the full hog if you can afford it.
