    doom3 & x800 woes

basically whenever i attempt to enable any aa when i restart the game (changes dont take effect without restarting)

apon restart of the game the res sets itself to 640x480 with no aa on, this is slightly annoying as i wanted to have a look how it would look,

could this be driver related ??

im using the 5.1 cats thanx guys

Set the resolution so what you want, then go into the control panel/control center and force the level of AA you want!

    Simple

    Create an autoexec.cfg in your doom 3\base directory and put the commands below in, will force the settings...Meanings as follows..Machine spec 2 is high 3 is ultra..r_mode = 5 = 1024x768, 6 = 1152x864, 7 = 1280x1024 and 8 = 1600x1200..Multisamples is AA so 0, 2, 4 etc

    r_displayRefresh "85"
    com_machineSpec "2"
    r_multiSamples "0"
    r_mode "5"

Me neither - but I have raised it with the driver team - will post some kind of response as soon as I get it
