LCD TV resolution doing my head in....

If anyone can please help I would be appreciative.

Bought a Relisys RLT3000, 30" TFT. Reasonably pleased with it however cannot get it to display 1280x768 like EVERYWHERE says it can as a native resolution.

No drivers on the website for the display.

My Radeon 9200 (Its my MCE Machine) is showing the usual resolutions from 800x600 to 2048x1536.

However if I select 1280x768 then it does that silly thing where it looks alright but if you move the mouse the screen moves around the screen. Best way I can describe it is like its Zoomed.

Used Analog and DVI. Oh and its detected the monitor as Plug and Play.

Link to Relisys website for furhter info:

    anything obvious I've missed?????????

Older ATI cards don't support this resolution. I had the same trouble with a Radeon 7500 on a laptop.

Just tried Powerstrip thanks for the suggestion, set it to 1280x768, made a monitor inf for 1280x768 as well. Still no joy. Displays but its still moveable on screenable.

Starting to wonder if it can't actually do it.

Oh and I tried a 9600 Pro as well (just to make sure I wasn't going entirely mad) same thing.

Maybe the fit to screen is stuck on. Try the screen setup menu.
Using the correct input I presume?
Not familiar with this particular one but mine had the same problem till I reset the defaults and saved them and restarted the set. Originally I could only get 800 res which when auto fit was on was totally weird.

*sighs* No fit to screen, no return to defaults (though the first revision had it). Tech support have so far suggested that the problem is generally down to me not rebooting my computer *deeper sigh*

So still stuck and bereft of ideas.
