Are these 3dmark 2k3/5 scores normal?

In 3dm2k3 Im only getting 13893 points, which Im told is quite below what it should be.

In 3dm2k5 I am getting 6983 points. Specs:

    3200+ winnie @ 2.476ghz

    DFI NF4
    275HTT, 5:6 divider
    225mhz ram, CL2,3,3 7 2T (4 512mb sticks)

    X850XTPE 609/587.

Also what would be limiting fps on CS:S? Some places it drops to ~50 but most of the time it stays nearer 130fps..

I think those 3d mark scores are ok, check the s939 overclocking database at dfi-street.com:

    Not sure about cs:s though

Why do I remember people getting 15k in 03, around the time when x800/6800 cards came out?

No I mean before people had a chance to do that? IIRC nvidia demonstrated the 6800 getting 15k at E3 or some other big event supposably at stock..?

There no way a 6800Ultra can get 15k stock, unless it's with like a FX-57 at over 3ghz.

I just has a quick look on ORB and the highest 6800gt on socket A ( i couldn't tell with the athlon 64s whether they were sli or not so the socket a boards cannot be sli.) is 13955 with an xp at 2600mhz. For an x850xtpe its 12654 with an xp at 2500mhz.

    Thanks for confirming that

Ive just done the GPU VID mod upto 1.6v from 1.4v stock.

Bit disapointed as its only giing me 30-50mhz more

Current 3dm2k5 score is 7182 but I think I can get it a little higher

Im hoping when I change gpu waterblock next week, that the lower temperatures will allow it to overclock a lot further.

Don't forget the VDroop will kick in at a certain voltage, and the card, will not overclock, you need to mod the VDDQ voltage. What the Load voltage of the core? Loop 3dmarknature, and measure with ya multimeter.

1.6V should be good for around 650Core on a X850 id of thought. I got 675 core on my X800, but it was a very early card, and great clocker.

What temps you getting? I was around 28C idle and 40C load tops at 1.680Vcore full load with a Maze 4, 6002 dual heatercore and 50z.

You mean Over Current Protect? Im told that doesnt kick in untill 1.65v+

At no load the Vgpu is 1.612, under load it goes down to ~1.59.

I cant belive that voltage would still be limiting my card past ~660mhz - At 620 yes but not at 650.

I know temps are important for ATI cards, I found with my old 9700 it would crash at a certain temp.
Currently Im getting 52°c load with a very crappy w/b and d4 pump (measured 9l/m fully assembled) and 2x vaxual heatercores with 172mm fan.

Watertemp is ~40c becuase of the bad weather and my fan is on low atm.
