Yes. The software lets you record direct. From what i saw at least

As Dougal said, you once the drivers are installed (the graphics card ones), and WFM application will tap into them and use them as a source

virtualdub and virtualvcr will allow you to capture. You may need to install a codec or two unless you have a hooooooge (and fast) hard drive for uncompressed video
