    You're paying for a peice of technological history. If 3Dfx was managed better, or nVidia wasn't overhyped for 'speed' at the time, Glide would probibly still be the main API used by games. I personally wouldn't buy it because I'm not that well off and I havn't got hardware old enough to run it. But I still dust off my Voodoo 5500 once and awhile, it was a sweet card in its day.

    I've got a ZX81 somewhere too, I had it running of a 9 volt battery. Now that's low power!

    In fact, I've got a cornucopia of ancient 8-bit and 16-bit computers.

    Anyone know if they're worth anything nowadays?

    It's too quiet...

    My dad's got a working Apple Lisa (complete with orignal printer). They have gone for quite a bit on eBay. I really must get around to selling it for him
