Your system is basically what I had until Xmas . I had a Jetway motherboard and XP1900+ though. Going PCI-E and 939 is a huuuge performance increase. I cant believe how fast games are after getting my new graphics card today.Originally Posted by kidzer

I never got into overclocking until I got my Opteron. My motherboard has an expansion slot for AM2 but it will be worth just buying a new board by then so I can have DDR2.Originally Posted by kidzer
May I ask... how? I wasn't aware of any AM2 motherboards yet.Originally Posted by Sabriel

The Asrock DualSataII comes with a CPU Expansion slot. Asrock said they will be releasing an expansion for the AM2 socket for this board, along with a BIOS update.Originally Posted by mike_w

Me want Ultrabook

my 6600GT play games fine at 1600x1200 (or 3200x1200 sometimes) without the eye-candy. Couldn't justify to buy a high end GFX card

In a month I went from 6600GT > 6800GS > 7800GT. Definitely noticed a difference in speed and quality from each step up.
