I am downsizing my pc to one to go under my tv, will be running at 720. I want to still be able to play a few games eg AOE3 and perhaps the new NWN when it comes out. The rest of my gaming will be done on my xbox360. Will the gs be powerful enough? I also would like it to be silent/v quiet.

If quiet is required, go for the passive GS. The fan on the 7600GT is the same as the one on the 7900GT. Like a bloddy hoover!!!
GS will be fine if you don't mind losing high quality and AA, etc. It's on a par with the 6800NU or there abouts IIRC.
Thanks! I might consider one of the silenced gt's, but seen as you can get a gs for £75 for very infrequent gaming, that may well be the way to go.
