Wow, is OCUK really that bad? I actually bought x1800xt from them about 2 days ago. I hope it won't break:O

OK, bit late on this one, but did you try using the other output from the card? It's unlikely to help, but sometimes you can get minor physical damage caused by the monitor cable being attached.
Obviously you're happy with the 1900, but it'd be helpful to whoever you sell the x1800 on to.
