well, ive been halfway around europe, i went earlier this year, and yes i agree - seeing the collosseum full on was quite something, as was the wonderful trevi fountain; seeing a wednesday address by the pope at st pauls, seeing the wonderful scenery around madrid, the streetperformers in barcelona (oh the beach! omg! ive not been on many, but it was quite something!), the ruins at pompeii, the statue of david at florence, the wonderful scenery around interlaken! and that was me done!
im considering doing east europe, but am a little worried about the racism that you see at their football games (im asian) and if i do this, ill be doing it alone again!
i think i can do three weeks in eastern europe for 600 as you can live like a king for relatively little over there!
