I have a Dell 19" at work and it is great. Can't comment on the 5ms though...

Ooops, it's not the ultrasharp version as indicated. This version has less than steller performance. My mistake.
ive got a samsung 225bw here as well, very good in games, no ghosting that i could see. only problem is a little backlight bleed, but its barely noticeable, and goes away if you use the reading setting on the monitor. basically just turns the brightness down, i think these monitors have a small sun in the back of them, theyre so bright.
biggest advantage over all other budget 22" is hdcp imo, a little bit of future proofing.
Just got mine yesterday. So far so good.
The 225bw is a great monitor, and I have one for sale.
No, I need a smaller monitor, its going in an alcove.
On A Slighty diffrent note..
Im about to buy a nice Asus 22" Widescreen
will my old OC'd 6800GT be able to handle high res games
on a screen this big...?

OK well my impression on my fujitsu siemens L22-W-2DV, now it is setup and i have been playing game on it for a while?
1) Build quality is excellent - the buttons are nice and small on it. The casing is not plasticky and there really is very little casing around the screen itself. Looks really stylish.
2) Viewing angle - Maybe its just me, but up close i really notice the difference between this monitor and my old 19" NEC Syncmaster TFT. I can look at the NEC up close and from quite a wide angle no problem. The Fujitsu is fine viewing from the side, but where you really notice the difference is in the height - especially up close. If it is too high or too low, then you can really see the change in sharpness of the picture. I ended having to buy a wall mount to put the monitor on the wall, so i could get the siemens monitor at the right height. When at the right height it look superb. But bear in mind with many of these 22" monitors, you may well have to do the same as me, if you cant get the right height on your desk or computer desk shelf. Or you could pay a little more money and go for a monitor with height adjustment. Just a thought.
3) Picture quality - This monitor was considerably brighter than my previous monitor and the colour and pixels were much clearer. Massive difference even using the same pc and graphics card. I found that the best setting was the natural one on the menu. I did run this monitor through a colour checking program, but didn't find it produced what i wanted. SO I re-adjusted the picture just using my own eyes on webpages, may favourite game and a few graphic screens. It looks really really good, but you should be prepared to change the standard settings a little to get the best possible. No problem though.
4) Speed / ghosting - Not noted any ghosting at all. Tested it with half life 2, dungeons and dragons online and battlefield 2 and I can say the view is awesome. To be able to see things so well in a wide angle makes you feel so much more a part of the action. And in online MMOs gives you so much more space for your task bars and item bars, so that it gives you a much less cluttered gaming view too. I am sure this would be the same with all 22" widescreen montors, but I am very impressed with how it responds in gaming.
5) Video performance - not tested yet, so cant comment on how it looks with video. However, I did notice that sitting further away from the screen meant the vertical viewing angle was less of a problem - so if buying the monitor for this purpose then you might be able to do away with putting it on a wall bracket.
6) Instructions - very basic. This is a plug and play monitor, so doesn't require a great deal. However, some guide as to how to find all the screws in order to remove the stand, so the monitor can be mounted on a stand on the wall, would have been nice. Two screws were obvious, but the remaining ones took 5 minutes of trial and error before i discovered that the top part of the stand slid away from the main, after you had removed the two visible screws. Thereby allowing you access to the other screws. A more in depth guild on the monitor menu system would have been nice too, but it really isn't difficult to work out how to use it, with only 4 buttons to chose from (and one of those is an on / off button!)
Conclusions - for this price of £255 including delivery I don't think you can go far wrong. The picture quality, the use for gaming and the build quality are all top notch. The main negative is a lack of height adjustment, so I would advise geting a bracket and putting it on the wall, to get the best viewing picture (especially if sitting up close and playing games). For watching videos at a further distance away, this would be less of a problem.
Highly recommended.!
