    IE7 Vista Home Premium- iii.co.uk slow ......

    Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help with this please

my father uses this website www.iii.co.uk
It works fine on XP with IE6
but I got him a new Dell with Vista Home premium and IE7
When you go to http://www.iii.co.uk it takes up to 10 minutes to load, and the same for the discussion forums.

Other sites seem fine. I have tried installing the latest firefox and the same problem occurs and also tried http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...9RPcy8dg%3d%3d
which lets you run IE7 to look like IE6 but no luck any ideas ?

    thanks alot

erm Using Opera and IE in Vista (on my computer) for your link, and it is very slow loading..........I always use the BBC site to check my connection as there are no adverts there, which could slow your computer down.

It's just a very slow site. It's only works fast on the older machine because most of the page is cached onto the hard disk already.

just cleated my cache and tested it on xp and takes about 4 seconds to fully finish loading
