    ASUS sTRIKER eXTREME

I installed the board and cant cant get it to the bios screen let alone desktop.
The LCD window on the I/O ports says "CPU INT" so I googled this and this seems to be a common fault with this board and the various methods people have used to solve it range from bits of cardboard to removing fibre washers from the screws.
I have been at this for 2 days now and running out of ideas, has anyone on here had this prob and fixed it?.

Well, I havn't used nor seen a striker extreme, except on the 'net, and from what I've read, loads of people have been having problems with their mobo's because the LEDs that the board has are on. Apparently the PC won't boot if they are on..?

Just wondering if that could be the problem...

You need to press the button in the back which turns the blue LEDs off and then install one ram, clear cmos -> load default settings -> and then set the ram voltage to its manufacturer recomendation. It seems that these boards have a lot lower ram voltage when set on auto.

Its a bit late but hey for all those who will encounter the same problems
