Resizing partition in Vista

Hi,
I currently have Vista running on my 80 gig drive, and it's currently in 1 NTFS partition. I would like to resize this partition so that I can install XP on the new-ly created partition.

I've tried the demo of Partition Manager but I can't re-size it for some reason, no pop ups asking me to buy it or anything so I don't see what's wrong.

Has anyone done anything like this, or give any suggustions?

Acronis Disk Director should be able to do it for you.

I think that demo version allows you to see everything it can do but won't allow you to commit the changes.

I found paragon partition manager a very good free partition manager for vista. An example of the quality is the fact that say you wanted to copy a partition, it does the processing on any locked drives (eg the os one) after rebooting into what seems like a small distribution of linux and if you copy the os partition the vista boot loader is updated with an extra entry corresponding to the copy of vista.

I've used Ghost, Partition Magic and Acronis Disk Director and would recommend Acronis over the others. It's much cheaper as well! Amazon seemed best on price last time I checked
